The different components and their uses are discussed below.

Inventory

Tool Buttons

  • StoAll: Places all items in the inventory into storage if storage is open. Right Click and you can set it to exclude the items in the top, bottom or both top and bottom row. Useful if you want to keep certain things on you but not all when you open the storage.
  • GetAll: Single click when you are on a bag that is open will add all the items from the bag into your inventory. Double click will open the bag you are standing on.
  • DrpAll: Double click places all items in the inventory into a bag (open). Right Click and you can set it to exclude the items in the top, bottom or both top and bottom row. Useful if you want to drop bones and furs in a hurry during an invasion.
  • MixAll: Mixes the current item you have active. Right click gives you the option of Mix one or Mix All. You might think there would never be a use of a Mix one but I often use it when summoning or mixing something that I tend to fail a lot. (Note: The recipe window does not have to be open)
  • ItmLst: Allows you to access a list of items and quantities you can add from storage to inventory.

Special Inventory Options

If you right click on the Window title you get extra options.

  • Hide Windows - Closes the Inventory.
  • Opaque Background - As opposed to Transparent.
  • Windows On Top - Keeps the inventory visible when you switch over to map or console view.
  • Use Small Window - Shrinks the window to a mini version. (Once I did this I never went back :P)
  • Manual Window Size - Not sure, I can’t seem to make it do much.
  • Item Window On Drop - Not sure, I can’t seem to make it do much.
  • Allow Equipment Swap - This is awesome! Using your pickaxe on a pile of iron ore and an Orc shows up? Double click your sword and you will instantly be armed to do battle. \o/ (Note it also works on the Quickbar items) But doesn’t seem to work in EL. ;(
  • Open Storage (View Only) - Can be used instead of typing #sto

You can edit the different quantities on the bottom of the Inventory Window by Right Clicking and typing the amount you would like.

Storage

All the stuff you collect needs to go somewhere :D

You are limited to 300 slots but unlimited amounts.

If you right click on the Window title you get extra options.

  • Hide Windows - Closes the Storage.
  • Opaque Background - As opposed to Transparent.
  • Windows On Top - Keeps the Storage visible when you switch over to map or console view.
  • Print Items to Console - Very useful to list all the items and quantities under a certain category. To console and Chat_log.
  • Sort Categories Alphabetically - I tried this once :P It is better to have it in the order that you are used to.
  • Auto Close Storage Dialogue - When you click on a storage NPC and select Open Storage this dialogue will Automatically disappear if this option is selected. (Useful)
  • Auto select storage option in dialogue - If you are the strong silent type and don’t want to speak to the storage NPC every time you need to get a few potions and a bite to eat then this option is for you. It opens the storage as soon as you click the NPC.

(Note: I always have both selected to facilitate fast and easy drop off and collections :P)

Special Note:

  • Left Alt and Clicking on an inventory slot will add that whole slot to storage
  • Left Ctrl and Clicking on an inventory slot will Drop the whole slot to a bag

Magic

The window for spellcasting is pretty straightforward but has three different layouts. If you right click on the logo for the spell on the bottom right it will be added to your quickbar. Sigils can be purchased at the Magic Shops in WS. If you have cast a spell you can recast the same spell using Ctrl+R.

Clicking on the ⋁ on the top right will give you this window.

And clicking on the ∎ will give you the following window, You will need to know the required sigils to mix in order to get the spell that you want here...there may also be a few spell experiments you could try...
