Magic
The world of Draia in Other Life is filled with Magic, the god of which is Unolas. There are many helpful and fun spells available to the student of the magic arts, but this is the only skill with required levels for each spell. The higher your skill level, some spells will have greater effect and the more powerful spells you have at your fingertips.
You do not need any nexus to cast spells, but they require different combinations of sigils for casting, and use up reagents (essences) each time they are cast.
There is no minimum level for not failing a spell, but the higher the fewer failures. There is a cooldown of one second after casting spells. If you are engaged in combat, the cooldown is two seconds.

Sigils
A sigil is a symbol that is needed along with reagents (essences) to cast magic spells. Sigils are never consumed, can't break, can't be dropped or traded, and are not lost if you use the#reset
command. Once you buy a sigil from the magic shops in Glingor Underground or White Stone City, you have it for the rest of the game.
All sigils cost 400 Gold Coins.
A few sigils (Air, Earth, Destroy and Death) are currently not used by any spells. Buying those sigils would therefore be pointless.
